Rajouri: Four Indian soldiers including an officer was killed and one injured in shelling by Pakistani troops across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bhimber Gali sector of Rajouri district on Sunday. Indian firing has also killed one Pakistani civilian along Line of Control.

A teenage girl was also injured in Poonch. The Indian Army said it was reacting sharply.

According to reports from Pakistan, a civilian was killed and two children were injured after Indian security forces opened unprovoked fire across the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter-Services Public Relations said on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh had warned Pakistan about the consequences at an election rally at Barjala on the state capital’s outskirts.
“I have given standing orders to our forces to shoot limitless bullets to retaliate a single fire on our territory by the Pakistani forces,” he said

The situation along LoC is deteriorating and thousands of people living near border areas have been evacuated due to intense firing between Indian and Pakistani troops along LoC and the International border. Both India and Pakistan are accusing each other for ceasefire violations, and the people of Jammu and Kashmir have always  been the victims of the military aggression.
