LAHORE: Pakistan Railway has announced to celebrate Kashmir Day by displaying posters and banners on the trains and railway stations.
According to Pakistan Railway spokesman, special posters with the message of Kashmir issue, rights of Kashmir people and Indian atrocities in Kashmir will be displayed on four trains and posters with different messages will be advertised on Greenline Train, Tezgam Express, Khyber Mail and Jafar Express Trai.
He further said that banners will be displayed at all big railway stations including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Noshehra, Lalamusa, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Sakhar, Rohri, Nawabshah, Karachi, Haiderabad, Sibbi and Quetta to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
Videos will also be played at these railway stations for five days, starting from Ist of February in order to highlight the issue of Kashmir and Indian atrocities with innocent Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile, deposed prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will attend an event in the capital of Azad Kashmir (AJK) on the occasion of the Kashmir Solidarity Day, celebrated each year on February 5 and is expected to address the Kashmir Solidarity Day public rally in Muzaffarabad.
Moreover, Kashmir Solidarity Day is a national holiday in Pakistan, observed to show their support and unity with the people of Indian-held Kashmir.
