Srinagar: Commenting on continuous ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday said that Pakistan restores to continuous firing across the border because they don’t want India to have a peaceful atmosphere.
“Pakistan doesn’t want India to have a peaceful atmosphere. This is why they do such violations. There was a ceasefire violation yesterday too,” Sonali Mishra, Inspector General of BSF told ANI.
Mishra further said that the Border Security Forces and Army have given a befitting reply to the Pakistani troops. “BSF and Army gave a befitting reply and according to our reliable sources there are two casualties on their side,” added Mishra.
The situation along Line of control (LoC) and International border remains tense. Both Indian and Pakistan are violating the ceasefire agreement and thousands of civilians have been evacuated near Line of Control (LoC) and International border.
Reports of ceasefire violations come from Jammu sector, including Poonch and Rajouri, and now ceasefire violations are taking place in north Kashmir’s Tangdhar and Uri sectors as well.
