Pakistan Air chief awarded King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief-Marshal Sohail Aman was awarded King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence (highest military award of Saudi Arabia) in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh city on Friday, a press release issued here by media affairs directorate of PAF said.
General Abdul Rahman Bin Saleh Al-Bunyan-Chief of General Staff Royal Saudi Armed Forces, conferred that desired award on the air chief-Marshal Sohail in a grand ceremony.

The medal has been given to air chief in recognition of support provided by the PAF to Royal Saudi Arabia Force in various spheres, especially for his valuable services to the promotion of cordial ties between two air forces.
General Abdul Abdul Rahman Bin Saleh Al-Bunyan emphasized the contribution of PAF chief for enhancement of defense ties between both the brotherly countries and also lauded PAF’s role in operation Zarb e Azab and termed it inspiration for the other air forces for the world.

Marshal Sohail also met Major General Mohammed bin Saleh Al Otaibi-Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), while expressing the satisfaction over the mutual ties between the two nations, Marshal Sohail offered assistance to his counterpart in the fields of military and aviation training.
