Srinagar: Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference patron, Farooq Abdullah said that further sects of this nation will only cause more loss and the actual enemy is not across the border but among ourselves.”
Any further sects of this nation will cause only destruction. Our enemy is not across the border but within ourselves. There is no solution without fighting this enemy. The only way to curb terrorism is through talk,” it is necessary to meet and discuss about it,” a local news agency quoted Abdullah.
Abdullah recently took clear note on the “deteriorating” security situation in the Jammu and Kashmir.
The National Conference on Tuesday admired J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti after she stressed on the governments of India and Pakistan to continue talks and resolve their collective issues.
Farooq Abdullah said, “I would like to congratulate Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti Ji for realizing that until we have talks with Pakistan, militancy will not end.I feel Modi Ji has the courage to initiate this and take it to a logical end.”
