Mirwaiz urges India and Pakistan to hold talks on Kashmir

Mirwaiz said that civilian killings and oppression were breaking all previous records in Kashmir and urged both India and Pakistan to engage in dialogue before the situation goes out of control.

Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-separatist leader and chairman Awami Action Committee has urged India and Pakistan to initiate a dialogue over Kashmir, saying that if both the countries did not realize the urgency of dialogue, everything will perish if they fail.



According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar in a statement issued in Srinagar while terming the recent border conflict rising as destructive, said there is no end to bloodshed in Kashmir.

Mirwaiz further said that civilian killings and oppression were breaking all previous records in Kashmir and urged both India and Pakistan to engage in dialogue before the situation goes out of control, adding that the situation at LoC is becoming more destructive while in Kashmir killings and oppression are breaking previous records.
