Anti-India Protests, Clashes  outside Indian High Commision on India’s Republic Day

London: The anti-India ‘Black Day’ protest was organised by Lord Nazir Ahmed, a Mirpur, AJK origin member of the House of Lords. There were hundreds of demonstrators led by Lord Nazir who joined the anti-India protests outside the Indian High Commision in London.

The demonstrators called for the independence of Kashmir and Khalistan. Both Muslims, as well as Sikhs, joined the anti-India protest.

The group had organised the protest to coincide with India’s Republic Day.

The situation went worse when Indian supporters reached there and clashed with the anti-India protestors. Indians chanted slogans in favor of their country.

“Khalistan Azaadi” and “RSS terrorists” were some of the slogans of the anti-India protesters while the others shouted “Vande Mataram” and “Modi! Modi!”, PTI reported

The Police had a tough time keeping the two groups separated during the clashes.
