Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed across the world on February 5 (tomorrow) to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people who are struggling for their right to self-determination under United Nations (UN) resolutions. The Express Tribune reported.
Government of Pakistan and Azad kashmir has announced a holiday on Feb 5 and a one-minute silence will be observed at 10 am to honour the Kashmiri martyrs.
People will form human chains at Kohala bridge, Mangla Bridge and other points linking Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Rallies, public meetings, seminars and other functions will also be held across Pakistan and Azad kashmir to draw the attention of international community towards the Kashmir issue.
Pakistani and Sikh communities will hold a demonstration at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and former AJK PM Sultan Mehmood choudhary will be the chief guest on the occasion.
