Jammu: Candle march against the rising Corruption, Backdoor appointments, Nepotism

JAMMU: A unit of Jammu and Kashmir Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday took out a candle march against the rising corruption, backdoor appointments,  nepotism, and mass scale favoritism by present BJP-PDP Coalition Government.

The protesters assembled near Gole Market area of Gandhi Nagar in Jammu and passed through streets towards the official residence of Speaker of J&K Assembly, Kavinder Gupta raising slogans against backdoor appointments in general and son of Vice President PDP, Sartaj Madni, and daughter of Assembly Speaker in particular as gazetted officers in the State Government.

The protesters alleged that present Coalition Government has failed on all fronts and a strong current of resentment is simmering against BJP & PDP in their respective constituencies of J&K  across the whole state for their utter failure to fulfill their promises made to the people before elections.

Earlier, opposition National Conference launched a scathing attack on the PDP over alleged nepotism and malpractice in the selection of candidates.
