Israel Preparing for War, Seeks US Ammunition and Support for Planned Attack on Lebanon

Just a few weeks ago, it seemed that Israel was on the edge of starting a war with Syria. However, Israel’s northern neighbour, Lebanon can be the next target of western destructive forces in the Middle-East as Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) has warned that Israel is preparing to start a war in southern Lebanon. Bloomberg reported.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Graham, who visited the Middle East with Senator Chris Coons (D-DE), told reporters that “Southern Lebanon is where the next war is coming.”

Senator Lindsey Graham said Iran is testing President Donald Trump and warned Israel was preparing to start a war in southern Lebanon over an Iranian-backed Hezbollah rocket factory.

Israeli officials recently told a bipartisan pair of US Senators that it needed “ammunition, ammunition, ammunition” for a war against Hezbollah in Lebanon — a war that will expressly target Lebanese civilians and civilian infrastructures, such as hospitals, schools, and apartment buildings. The alleged motive for the invasion is the presence of Iranian rocket factories. MintPress recently reported.

However, this allegation is based solely on the claims of an unknown agent serving in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and was first reported on by a Kuwaiti newspaper known to publish stories planted by the Israeli government.

In addition, Israel has been laying the groundwork for an invasion of Syria since last year and is largely responsible for the current conflict in Syria that has raged on for seven years. Israel’s current push to invade Syria is also based on false evidence suggesting that Iran is establishing military bases in Syria to target Israel.
