High Court Bar demands mortal remains of Afzal Guru, Maqbool Bhat

SRINAGAR; Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Srinagar on Thursday paid rich tribute to Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and Mohammad Afzal Guru and reiterated the demand that the mortal remains of them should be returned back to the people of Kashmir so that they are buried with due respect in Mazar-e-Shuhda.



The bar association members also pledged their support to Joint Resistance Leadership planned programme for 9th and 11TH of February, and also decided to convince its members to restrain from court work on 9th of February, in order to make the programme successful.
Moreover, Bar Association sought that Kashmir dispute to be settled in accordance with the wishes of the inhabitants of Jammu and Kashmir state, as guaranteed to them by United Nations Security Council Resolution.



Bar said in a statement  issued here, “We are awaiting implementation of United Nations resolution for the last 7 decades years so that peace and tranquillity are established in the sub-continent, and the possibility of a nuclear war between the two countries, on the issue of Kashmir, is avoided for all times to come.”
