Kulgam: Suspected militants on Sunday hurled grenade at the house of an MLA from Noorabad, Abdul Majeed Paddar in South Kashmir’s Kulgam. The grenade exploded outside and no injuries were reported.
The window panes of the house suffered minor damage in the blast.
The police said that a search operation was immediately launched to nab the attackers.
On Saturday, suspected militants hurled grenade at Kral Khud police station in Srinagar. There were, however, no reports of casualties.
“The grenade exploded without causing any casualty. Some vehicles parked outside the police station, however, were damaged,” the police had said.
“A few gunshots were also heard in the area after which the area has been cordoned off,” the police added.
