Mahendragarh: A group of local youth held a demonstration and burnt an effigy of Mehbooba Mufti at Ambedkar Chowk on Wednesday, demanding cross-case against the two Kashmiri assaulted students.
Demonstrators accused the police of taking one-sided action into the case reportedly under political pressure and demanded registration of a cross-case against the two Kashmiri assaulted students of the Central University of Haryana.

Rahul Yadav-one of the demonstrator said, “The Kashmiri students first manhandled some local youths in connection with some minor issue that day, but the police did not take any action against them while the local youths were arrested that night.”
