Birmingham’s Kashmiri community to hold a demonstration at the Indian Embassy in London

BIRMINGHAM: Members of Birmingham’s Kashmiri community will hold a demonstration at the Indian Embassy in London this weekend. BirminghamMail reported
The demonstration will b held against the Indian occupation in Kashmir and will also mark the death anniversaries of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and Mohammad Afzal Guru.

The demonstrators will be reiterating the demand to return back the mortal remains of the Maqbool Bhat and Afzal Guru.
Afzal Guru was hanged on 9th of February, accused of his role in Parliament attack in 2001, while as Maqbool Bhat was hanged 11th of  February, 1984 to take the revenge of the killing of an Indian Diplomat-Ravindra Mhatre, who was initially kidnapped in an attempt to secure Maqbool Bhat’s release by some unidentified organization claiming to be Kashmiri.
The human rights group have argued that legal processes were ignored in both the cases.
