AMU students protest against civilian killings in Kashmir

Aligarh: A large number of students on Friday registered their protest after Friday prayers, against the recent killings in Kashmir. Students had placards in their hands which read Justice for Kashmiri victims and raised slogans against brutal killings. Many students had their eyes strapped with bandage symbolizing the pellet victims of Kashmir.

The students marched from Jamia Masjid AMU to University Circle after Friday Prayers. Condemning the use of brutal force in Kashmir students demanded that efforts be made to resolve the decades-old conflict.

People of Kashmir have been living under occupation for seven decades now, there is utter need to resolve the issue, they said.

The students also demanded that the laws like AFSPA and PSA should be repealed.
